The Zoom Whitening process equipment is designed to work for 20 minutes at a time, before automatically switching itself off. It is also designed to use only the authorised gels, controlled through a coding system, when this eqiupment is tampered with or "cracked" it is possible for alternative cheaper gels to be used and also the auto switch off is disabled. This puts the patient at risk.
